Tesla unveiled a flying car with rocket technology

Tesla unveiled a new electric Roadster, demonstrating a 0-to-97 km/h acceleration time of 0.81 seconds and aerial maneuvers using jet engines. However, mass production of the model will not begin until 2028 at the earliest, and its key technical specifications have not yet been disclosed.

During the presentation, the Roadster took off from a ramp, flipped in midair, and made a controlled landing. According to Tesla, the vehicle is equipped with fans under its chassis that generate up to 2 g of downforce, as well as ten gas jet engines developed in collaboration with SpaceX. These engines use compressed air from two tanks, each with a capacity of 600 liters.

Compared to the 2017 prototype, the new Roadster features a bulkier design. Notable features include electronic control of the steering mechanism, brakes, and accelerator, as well as an active rear spoiler with variable downforce.https://youtu.be/7p5LxFdc-Qg

Tesla has announced three versions of the model: Performance starting at $50,000, Thrust priced at $250,000, and a one-seater Rocket version capable of flight available only by invitation. The company claims the Thrust version can accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h in less than a second.https://youtu.be/cvKIR-c1SsU

Tesla has not disclosed the power of the electric motors, battery capacity, or range. The delivery dates for customers who placed pre-orders for the previous version of the Roadster (in the photo) are also unspecified.

Thus, nearly nine years after its first unveiling, the model is once again presented as a concept car, with its market release remaining a matter for the future. https://youtu.be/qt5p-_tE8d0
