The Chinese automotive brand Leapmotor, which is expanding its global retail network in close cooperation with the international conglomerate Stellantis, has introduced the upgraded Leapmotor C10 electric crossover. The family crossover retains its sleek, minimalist silhouette with fluid lines, but the body color palette has been expanded with new options, and alloy wheels featuring a redesigned design are now standard on the wheel arches. The main changes focus on the interior and onboard electronics.

The interior now features improved trim materials and a modernized dashboard design. Engineers have completely updated the software for the central multimedia system by installing a more powerful processor, which speeds up the response time of the touchscreen, enhances navigation maps, and improves smartphone connectivity options. The safety system suite has been enhanced with new driver assistance systems (ADAS).

In addition, the Leapmotor C10 features optimized therm management systems and upgraded software for controlling the traction battery. Thanks to these improvements, engineers were able to significantly enhance the energy efficiency of the powertrain, resulting in an increased driving range per charge.

It’s worth noting that the rear-wheel-drive model is based on the company’s proprietary LEAP3.0 architecture, equipped with an electric motor mounted on the rear axle delivering 218 horsepower/160 kW. The company will announce exact prices and detailed specifications for European dealers closer to the start of official sales.
