Fiat unveiled the conceptual electric vehicle Multiplina

FIAT unveiled the Multiplina concept car, designed for everyday commuting. The debut of this new model took place at the Paris Motor Show.
Unlike another concept car shown at the exhibition, the “transformer” Multiplay, which offers multiple usage options, Multiplina focuses on maximizing interior space while maintaining minimal dimensions.

The inspiration for its creation came from the 1956 FIAT 600 Multipla. With a length of just 3.5 meters, this car could accommodate six people thanks to its innovative interior layout.

Multiplia builds on the same concept while addressing modern demands for urban transportation. Its design also shows clear references to its historical predecessor: a forward-mounted windshield, two-tone body coloring, a distinctive front element in the shape of “cheeks,” and stylized ventilation slits at the rear.

When developing this concept, special attention was paid to compactness, weight reduction, and efficient interior layout. This approach helps cut material and resource costs while maintaining the functionality needed for everyday use.

The FIAT Multiplina measures 3.04 meters in length, 1.40 meters in width, and 1.53 meters in height. Despite its compact size, the concept vehicle features a four-seater interior. It is designed as an intermediate model between the two-seater electric quadricycle Topolino and an A-class sedan.
