Ten days from the Danube to the High Tatras and the Spis castles: Bratislava, Trencin, Zilina with Mala Fatra, Liptovsky Mikulas, Stary Smokovec under the ridges, Spisske Podhradie and Levoca, Kosice, then back through Banska Bystrica. Season: Best May to October. High Tatras weather shifts fast; book overnight ZSE Drive, GreenWay or hotel wallbox in Bratislava, Poprad area and Kosice. Mountain legs after Zilina and before Spis ask for a cool battery and an early start.
