Dodge brings the all‑electric Charger to Europe as orders open for the next generation muscle car
Dodge has officially opened European orders for the next‑generation Charger lineup, marking the return of one of America's most iconic muscle cars to the region with a bold new all‑electric flagship at its core. Celebrating its 60th anniversary, the brand introduces the Charger Daytona BEV - the world's first all‑electric muscle car - built on Stellantis' STLA Large multi‑energy platform and engineered to deliver uncompromised performance and unmistakable Dodge character. The all‑electric Charger arrives in Europe in both R/T and Scat Pack trims, each offering a distinct interpretation of modern electric muscle. The Charger Daytona Scat Pack stands at the top of the range with 500 kW (670 hp), launching from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in just 3.3 seconds and completing the quarter‑mile in 11.5 seconds thanks to enhanced performance calibration. The Charger Daytona R/T provides a more accessible entry point into the Charger's electric performance world while retaining the same wide‑body stance, aggressive proportions, and AWD capability that define the model's identity. Built from the outset to support both BEV and ICE powertrains, the STLA Large platform allows Dodge to preserve its muscle‑car DNA while embracing electrification. For the all‑electric Charger, this architecture enables a 100% BEV layout with standard all‑wheel drive, ensuring that the shift to electric propulsion enhances rather than diminishes the Charger's performance ethos. The model is available in both two‑door and four‑door configurations, giving European buyers the same breadth of choice as in Dodge's home market. European customers can now place orders through KWA, the brand's official importer, signaling Dodge's renewed commitment to the region and its evolving performance landscape. Pricing starts from €66.000. First deliveries are expected from September 2026. Dodge's electrification strategy is accelerating, and the all‑electric Charger is positioned as its most important step toward a high‑performance electric future. By bringing the Charger Daytona to Europe, Dodge is not only expanding its global footprint but also testing the appetite for American‑style electric muscle in a market increasingly shaped by EV adoption. The Charger serves as both a technological showcase and a statement of intent: Dodge aims to remain a performance leader in an electrified era, and Europe - one of the world's most competitive EV markets - will play a pivotal role in proving that electric muscle has a place on the global stage.
