DragonSea adds 37 electric Farizon vans to UK fleet

Shipping and logistics firm DragonSea has received a delivery of 37 Farizon SV electric vans as it continues to electrify its UK fleet. The L1H1 vans will be used to support customers relocating from China to the UK.

The 37 Farizon SVs are being leased to DragonSea under a two-year agreement, with the deal arranged by Driveway Vehicle Solutions. Pentagon Farizon Derby is meanwhile supplying the vans.

The SV L1H1s feature 93 kWh batteries plus 6.95 m³ of load space, a max payload of 1,265 kg, and a 550 mm loading height. Its stated range is up to 234 miles (377 km) WLTP, making the van suitable for DragonSea’s door-to-door removals operations.

“DragonSea presented a particularly interesting challenge,” said Ben Lowe, Business Development Manager at Driveway Vehicle Solutions. “The business needed an electric van capable of carrying large, heavy household goods while offering the range and reliability to support its specialist removals service.”

After assessing the available options, Lowe said the Farizon SV was selected for its payload capacity, load space and range. Zoe Tonks, Head of Sales at Farizon Auto UK, added: “This deal with DragonSea demonstrates another real-world application of the Farizon SV’s defining characteristics. With one of the largest load capacities for a van of its size, up to 234 miles of range, and all the very latest driver convenience and comfort functions, the SV is ideal for this customer’s needs.”

The order comes as Farizon continues to expand its presence in the UK. In April, Farizon unveiled the all-new V7E electric medium van at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham, targeting urban logistics with a dedicated EV platform. At the same time, the company introduced a series of upgrades for the 2026 SV large electric van, including a new Core trim.
