From the rebirth of famous city cars to all-new premium SUVs, the Paris Motor Show 2026 will place host to a wealth of interesting new electric models

In just a few weeks the Paris Motor Show 2026 will kick off, bringing motoring media and enthusiasts from across the continent to the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

The show is set to be one of the biggest in years as scores of established brands and newcomers look to wow and woo drivers with their latest models.

As ever, the 2026 Paris Motor Show will play host to a number of premieres, with EVs set to make up the bulk of the new metal on show. In some cases we’ve already seen pictures and the Paris show marks their first time on public display. In other instances, the six-day motoring marathon will be the first time anyone gets to see the finished article.

There are bound to be a few surprises along the way, but here are the EVs to look out for at this year’s Paris Motor Show.

Alpine A110

One of the most anticipated reveals at this year’s Paris show is the new Alpine A110. The compact sports car is going all-electric from next year, with the French performance brand promising it will stay true to its roots. A development mule run at Goodwood revealed a very similar profile to the outgoing petrol car, and performance is set to match. Tech specs are still under wraps but the new A110 is expected to weigh under 1.5 tonnes, have a 40:60 rear-biased weight split and pack up to 500bhp from twin in-wheel motors at the rear, all managed by an active torque vectoring system.

Audi A2

The Audi A2 has already been revealed to the world but will make its public debut in the “flesh” at Paris. It’s a spiritual successor to the original lightweight hatchback but based on the VW Group’s ubiquitous MEB platform. With its slippery body design it’s the most efficient EV Audi has made and will offer up to 401 miles of range in its longest-range guise. It’ll also pack a 322bhp version for drivers looking for a more performance-focused spin on the A2.

Citroen 2CV

The Tin Snail returns! Rumours of a revived Citroen 2CV have been circulating for years but in May, Citroen confirmed that the name would be coming back. It also said that the new 2CV would channel the spirit of the original and represent a “new vision of accessible mobility: electric, simple, versatile and highly desirable”. So expect an A-segment rival to the Renault Twingo and Dacia Spring with relatively modest range and power but a starting price well under £20,000. Early teaser images also suggest some design links to the original.

Dacia Spring

Dacia has already revealed images and details of the new Spring but the Paris show will be the public’s first chance to see it in the metal. The second-generation city car is all-new but Dacia insists it remains true to the simple, affordable nature of the first Spring. We know power is a modest 80bhp and the 27.5kWh battery will give a range of 155 miles. We also know that the new European-built Spring is a lot bigger than the old one and that it’ll cost less than £18,000 as the budget brand looks to hang onto its title as Europe’s cheapest EV.

Fiat Pandina

Fiat already has a cute compact EV in the Grande Panda but the Grande part of that leaves room for something smaller in the Panda family. Nothing has been confirmed yet but it’s widely expected that the Italian firm will unveil that smaller model at Paris and that it will carry the Pandina name. It will share its technical underpinnings with the Citroen 2CV and sit alongside it as parent group Stellantis looks to carve itself a healthy chunk of the rapidly expanding electric city car segment.

Fiat Grizzly

At the opposite end of the Fiat range but still part of the Panda family, Paris will also see the public debut of the Fiat Grizzly. Despite being based on the same Smart Car platform as the Grande Panda, the Grizzly SUV and Fastback are both larger models designed to act as a family’s main vehicle. Fiat says the sibling cars will meet different needs but both share the ideals of being smart and accessible, with prices expected to start at around £25,000 to compete with the Renault 4 and Kia EV2.

Geely Monjaro

Yes, it sounds like a slimming drug, but the Geely Monjaro is actually a large plug-in hybrid SUV. The car is already on sale in China but will be arriving in Europe in late 2026 and the UK some time in 2027. It’s placed to compete with the likes of the Skoda Kodiaq and Peugeot E-5008 in the large family SUV market, although it’s not yet clear whether it will come with a seven-seat option. Power is set to come from an all-wheel-drive setup offering 235bhp. We’d expect details on range, charging and possibly early pricing guidance come October 12.

Lancia Gamma

We won’t be getting it in the UK but for the rest of Europe, Paris is the first chance to see the 2027 Lancia Gamma in the metal. Like lots of brands, Lancia is reviving a nameplate from the past but rather than a peculiar looking coupe or hatchback, the new model is, predictably, a C-segment SUV. Based on the Peugeot E-3008/Vauxhall Grandland, the Gamma aims to offer an Italian spin on widely used Stellantis parts, including hybrid and pure EV powertrains. There will be a regular 227bhp model, a long-range 212bhp version with 460 miles of range and an all-wheel-drive option delivering 370bhp.

Leapmotor B03

Leapmotor’s expansion across the EV sphere continues with the B03, which will make its first public appearance at the Paris Expo. Sitting beneath the B05, the Leapmotor B03 is a 4.1m all-electric supermini poised to go toe-to-toe with the Renault 5, Volkswagen ID.Polo and Fiat Grande Panda. We’re expecting details on powertrain and pricing to be shared at the Paris show, but Leapmotor has already said the B03 will deliver up to 242 miles of range and we expect it to get the same 121bhp motor as the version on sale in China. We’d also expect a price in the low £20,000s to keep it competitive.

Li Auto i6

Li Auto is yet another fledgling Chinese brand hoping to carve out a slice of the European EV market. Its first Europe-bound model is the i6 SUV, a premium model positioned rival to the likes of the Volvo EX60, BMW iX3 and Mercedes GLC. Set to go on sale in Europe in late 2026 and predicted to come to the UK at a later date, the slippery-shaped i6 is packed with high-tech features and fitted with an 87kWh battery good for an estimated 400 miles. Power is provided by either a single 335bhp rear-mounted motor or a two-motor 536bhp all-wheel-drive setup.

Lynk & Co 07 GT

Lynk & Co has operated in Europe for several years now but 2026 marks the brand’s first appearance at the Paris Motor Show. The Chinese brand will use the show to display its current range and host the European debut of a new model. The car hasn’t been named but is likely to be the 07 GT, a plug-in hybrid estate car unveiled earlier this year in China and confirmed for Europe. Sized between a Vauxhall Astra Sports Tourer and a VW ID.7 Tourer, the 07 GT offers up to 614 litres of boot space and, in its home market, comes in two- and all-wheel-drive variants offering between 397bhp and 516bhp.

Smart #2

Two years after the original Smart ForTwo EQ went off sale, the brand is going back to its roots. This year’s Paris show will see the official unveiling of the new all-electric Smart #2, a compact two-door, two-seat electric city car in the spirit of the original Smart car. Smart has teased its design, which looks to mimic the shape of its predecessor, but we’ll finally see the finished article in Paris. We’ll also get full technical specs to build on Smart’s claims of a 186-mile range and its ambition to set new standards for the A-segment.
